Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Judy Garland sang the song 70 years ago in a movie, when she was 17, before leading her sad life.

I remember we sang this for Seconday 1 class singing competition, which was, more than 10 years ago.

Time flies, as people always say...

Every teenager of every generation has dreams to hope for, has hope to go beyond the rainbow.

Hope is such a lovely thing.

Somewhere, over the rainbow, way up high.
There's a land that I heard of Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue.
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.
Someday I'll wish upon a star and wake up where the clouds are far Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops, Away above the chimney tops.
That's where you'll find me.
Somewhere, over the rainbow, bluebirds fly. Birds fly over the rainbow,
Why then - oh, why can't I?
If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow,
Why, oh, why can't I?
